Stephanieは、小さい時からよくママの仕事を手伝ってくれました。
コンドのシールをもっていたり、タオルを持って行ったり、トイレのお掃除など、
よく一緒に仕事をして来ました。

Stephanieは姉（Lisa）と違って、自分からいろいろしたがるタイプです。
本当にすばらしいいい子でした。
その娘の2009年（小学校5年生）の頃の作文が見つかりました。

　　  Mothers Job – Land Lord
 
  I’m going to be talking about my mothers job which is a Land Lord.
  Her first job was a translater for Japanese and Chinise. She did
  the translating in Japan for 6 years. After that she came to Hawaii
  and worked in a tour group called Jal Pack. She worked there for about
  10 years. Then Charlie and Lisa were born which made 10 years.
  It would have been 11 but I was born, so my mom quit her job, to spend
  time with me since I was her last child. Maybe 3 or 4 years before I
  was born. After she quit her job she began Land Lord.
  What made her think Land Lord was that at first she bought an apartment
  it is the Waikiki townhouse. Then she thought, “Hey, I have some more
  money. so maybe I should spend it on buying rooms to be a Land Lord.”
  Later on she had a total of 9 rooms. She thinks her job is wonderful
  and she has been doing this for about 13 years. But counting the year
  2009 it would be her 14th year of Land Lord. When I grow up maybe I
  can take over her job.

その娘はママの仕事を継がずに、早くこの世を去ってしまったこと。
思い出すといつも涙が止まらない。
ママの仕事をよく手伝ってくれた。ママの仕事も大好きなStephanie‥‥。
よく手伝ってくれて、本当に本当にありがとう。

パパとママが一つ一つ増やしていったコンドでしたが、利益の少ない仕事だけれど、
たくさんの人々との出会いが出来たこと、とてもすばらしい仕事でした。
楽しかったあの頃、いつまでも記憶に残っています。
